Helping Former TB Sufferers
People cured of pulmonary tuberculosis often continue to have problems breathing, while poor living conditions contribute to their continued suffering. On World TB Day, March 24, the World Health Organization sets out its global strategy for fighting this disease. As VOA’s George Putic reports, a contribution by a group of European doctors may soon help millions of former TB patients. VOA Khmer's Sarita Nuch narrates.
