Personnel from the Vietnamese and Cambodian navies stand at attention as a national anthem is played onboard a cruiser during a handing-over ceremony at a Cambodian naval base in Sihanouk Ville, 210km (130 miles) southwest of Phnom Penh January 11, 2006. The Vietnamese government on Wednesday donated two cruisers to the Cambodian navy for sea patrols.

The Cambodian government now says it has sent two ships and four helicopters to aid in the search of Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, which mysteriously disappeared 10 days ago.

The Cambodia search entails 80 naval and army personnel and includes flights over Cambodian land and sea.

No trace of the plane has been found in that search, officials said.

The Cambodian government had initially declined to send aid in the search for the flight, whose disappearance has baffled international search and rescue efforts.
