US Will Discuss with Cambodia about Plan to Get Rid of Anti-aircraft Missiles - 2004-03-02

US Ambassador to Cambodia Charles Ray will meet with Cambodian co-minister of defense to talk about the destruction of 233 anti-aircraft missiles left over from the war time.

A statement from the US embassy in Phnom Penh said the Ambassador will talk with the two co-ministers of defense about the steps Cambodia have to take to safely destroy the missiles.

Cambodian co-minister of defense Mr. Tea Banh told VOA that he will discuss with the Ambassador about the technicality and the complexity of the planned destruction of the missiles.
