Opposition Wants Obama To Push Democratic Reforms on November Visit

Opposition lawmaker Mu Sochua has sent a petition to US President Barack Obama, asking him to "champion democracy" and press for democratic reforms when he visits Cambodia in November. Obama will attend a major Asean summit next month, among many of the world's leaders. Mu Sochua told VOA Khmer she is worried that Cambodia's overall situation at the moment is "endangering to democracy." (Men Kimseng, Washington)
